A few randoms at first, then mostly Audrey's Birthday Adventures!
A fun month for her! My Baby is 4!!! How could that be??
One day while Ellie napped we decorated a Gingerbread house.
Before we left for my Bible Study one morning, I had Aaron take a picture of Ellie & me...I thought we looked so cute!! Unintentionally dressed alike, we had matching sweaters over our turtlenecks :)
Audrey's special school Birthday celebration!
Audrey's fan club.
Showing her little sis some of her birthday cards made by school friends.
Eating cupcake ice cream cones with friends.
And then we went home and opened some birthday gifts from Grandma & Grandpa....the least expensive & most entertaining being....the whoopie cusion!!! A HUGE hit! :) Ha.
Trying out her new "ipad". ;-) From Grandpa Gerry.
Audrey's Daddy and Grandpa took her to the local waterpark/wavepool for a special day. What fun they had!! Ellie & Grandma and I had some fun times at home while we waited for them. Here's little goofball Ellie, with one of her many reactions to Mommy asking her to "Smile Ellie!" :) Grandma obviously thought it was funny too.
Her first ever Barbie. :) She was pretty excited about it.
Then a few days later we had Audrey's 4th Birthday Tea Party! It was a luncheon and it was a lot of fun! We invited 9 of her special friends from the neighborhood, church, pre-school and her cousin Chloe! I made "tea" style sandwhiches for the children (PB&J & Turkey w/Cheese cut into shapes w/cookie cutters), with fruit, crackers and juice boxes. They all seemed to like it! And I made a lunch buffet for the adults too. Funny thing about the party was, more Dad's showed up for te Tea Party with their children then Moms did!!! ha! Wasn't expecting that, but it made sense eventually finding out how some of the Momma's had to work, etc. I had to text my husband who left shortly before the party began to "Come back!! More Dads here then Moms!!" So he came back and offered them all a beer at the Tea Party :)
Kids always entertain themselves with non-toy items...such as all jumping into the crib to play :) Goofballs!
Time for a new activity!
The girls made bead necklaces.
Time for cupcakes in ice cream cones!
More crib fun :)
Even saying "no gifts" on the invitation some of these children still brought thoughtful gifts. What generous friends Audrey has!
A very tired Momma... :)
